Peter Cassidy

Peter graduated from the University of Surrey and started working in Shropshire, England focusing mainly on farm and equine work. He joined Drumrainey in September 2021 and enjoys all areas of mixed practice, particularly bovine fertility and large animal surgery.

Peter also has a keen interest in equine veterinary. He particularly enjoys lameness assessments making use of a state-of-the-art ultrasound scanner and X-Rays carried out at the clinic. Dentistry and reproduction are Peter’s other areas of interest. He currently offers Artificial Insemination with fresh and frozen semen at the practice. 2 and 5 stage vettings are also carried out.

In his spare time, Peter enjoys socialising with friends and is a keen GAA and Ulster rugby fan.
