The practice was originally formed by Mr Derek Forbes in the 1940’s. Since then it has served the community of the mid-ulster area. Mr RR Clarke who joined the practice in 1949 had a special interest in horses and remained a partner until his retirement in 1998. Mr Trevor Crockett worked for nearly 50 yrs before his retirement in 2012. He had a passion for his job and was greatly admired for his love of dogs. Mr Trevor Jamison joined the practice in 1979 and is currently a partner. Mr Liam Young joined the practice in 1995 and has been a partner since 1998. Ms Miriam Nolan joined the practice in August 2013.

The practice is a traditional mixed rural practice which has served the mid-ulster community for over 70 yrs. We pride ourselves in providing a professional friendly service 24 hrs a day,365 dys a year.

Initially the practice would have primarily looked after horses,pigs and farm animals but in more recent years companion animal work has become more important.

Mr RR Clarke,Mr Trevor Crockett and Liam young have all been past presidents of veterinary organisations in Northern Ireland.
